Summary

Leads and manages all investigation activities and ensures a complete investigation of all complaints, incidents, crimes, and security threats concerning the Hospital’s and supervises all investigations personnel performance.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Conducts investigation in all security incidents, including caraccidents, crimes, and vandalism in hospital properties, and deals with allprocedures such as statements, local authority reports.   
  2.  Submits complete reports, including findings, conclusions andrecommendations to the Head, Safety & Security Services.
  3. Reviewsdocuments, communications, digital evidence and other sources of information.
  4. Maintains case folders on all investigations with properclassifications.  Assigns sensitivityclassifications to case folders such as restricted or “eye only”categories.  Ensures proper filing,maintenance, and safeguarding of all folders and records. 
  5.  Visits scenes of all crimes, incidents and emergencies, and carries outcrime scene searches, document examinations, fingerprint classifications,interviews, and interrogations.
  6. Evaluatescases for patterns and trends to identify failures in policies, proceduresand/or internal controls. 
  7. Conductsall phases of investigations related to alleged violations of the company'sCode of Conduct, and other policies and procedures
  8. Managesemergency response attendance (business and after hours) including roster coordination,escalation and follow-up debrief of team members post incident attendance.
  9. Participates in training new staff and improves their knowledge with theHospitals policies.  
  10.  Joins and represents Investigation Section in all committees related tolegal or investigations activities.
  11. Sets objectives, KPI’s, strategy plans, standards, and procedures forthe Investigation Section.
  12.  Prepares the annual budget for the section and the required equipmentand Manpower and updates Section Documents and IPP s as required.
  13. Makesthe annual evaluation for the department's employees.
  14.  Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.      
  15.  Participates in self andothers' education, training and development, as applicable.
  16. Performs other related dutiesas assigned.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor's Degreein Safety, Security, Law Enforcement, or any other related discipline isrequired.

Experience Required

Grade 11:

Five (5) years of related experience withMaster’s, or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including two (2) years ina senior/ supervisory capacity is required.

 

Grade 12:

Seven (7) years of related experience withMaster’s, or nine (9) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including four (4) years of(Grade 11) experience is required.
