Summary

Assists skilled tradesmen in all masonry works. Actions are normally determined by specific instruction from the supervisor or by following well-defined procedures, methods and practices.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Assists skilled technicians in performing assigned masonry works.

2. Operates machine tools such as pneumatic jackhammer, compactor, road saw, vibrator, grinder, chipping tools, concrete mixers and concrete block machine.

3. Performs semi-skilled masonry repairs and installation such as pointing up bricks/stone work and patching plaster walls.

4. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.

5. Follows all Hospital's related policies and procedures.

6. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.

Education

Associate Degree/ Diploma, orHigh School with Vocational Training is required.

Experience Required

No experience is required.
