Summary

Plans, organizes, supervises the corrective/non- corrective, Preventive Maintenance and repair medical gases plants (Vacuum, Compressed air, WAGD), different types of Medical Gases manifold controllers (oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide), equipment in order to keep track and save the life cycle of equipment,dental clinics vacuum system and ensures the maximum level of productivity and efficiency, Provides administrative and Technical support to the Departmental Head. Assists in implementing Hospital & Departmental Policies & Procedures.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Plans and directs the implementation of corrective/non-corrective and Preventive Maintenance as per hospital standards including overall operational and activities of Medical Gas Section in the most efficient & professional manner. Analyses, orders and determines required tools, equipment, supplies, parts and manpower required to complete the job. Instruct all craftsmen regarding procedures to be followed.

2. Supervises works in progress and assists with difficult or complex tasks. Review operational schedules, assignments and manpower requirement of the section.

3. Prepares and maintains the section budget. Orders equipment, materials, etc. requested in the annual estimated budget.

4. Evaluates the existing physical condition of all the equipment under Medical Gas section and recommends necessary replacement or upgrade.

5. Instructs and trains personnel, evaluates employee performance and take action to correct deficiencies, recommends personal action such as: hiring, promotion, disciplinary action and merit increase. Prepares leave schedules. Completes all other related administrative work as required.

6. Ensures that subordinates received proper training and assists them in their major works.

7. Ensures that an adequate inventory of all necessary spare parts, tools and test equipment is maintained at all times in the section. Ensures proper use of tools and equipment. Ensures that the accomplished work meets the Hospital standard.

8. Inspects all completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.

Education

Master’s, Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline, or Two (2) years Technical Diploma is required.

Experience Required

One (1) year of related experience with Master’s, three (3) years with Bachelor’s Degree ,or seven (7) years with Diploma is required.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Saudi National only.?

Saudi Driver’s License is required.
