Summary

Performs basic repair and maintenance on HVAC & Refrigeration equipment. Serves as leader to lower graded personnel performing minor maintenance works. Assists skilled tradesmen.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Performs skilled work under the guidance of the senior technician. Performs maintenance and service on HVAC & Refrigeration equipment in the Hospital and Residential Areas using hand and power tools.

2. Ensures that proper tools, equipment and materials are available for the job. Ensures the neat and orderly condition of  the job site after the completion of the required job.

3. Performs routine check-up of plant rooms & record pressure differential gauge reading of bag Filters, HEPA filters, replace due filters or schedule as required & report the functioning to the senior technician.

4. Perform repair of DX equipment and window type A/C units. Performs preventive maintenance of Fan Coil Units, flush the coil & clean air filter. May perform minor repair works on related equipment and assists with routine scheduled maintenance.

5. Guides lower graded personnel.

6. Position may require rotation on various shifts to maintain 24 -hours coverage.

7. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Associate Degree/Technical Diploma is required.                                                                                               

Experience Required

No experience is required with Bachelor’s, or one (1) year with Technical Diploma is required.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Saudi Driver's License — A driver's license from country of origin is necessary to obtain Saudi Driver's License.
