Summary
Manages the overall activates and functions of the Investment Portfolio Management Section under the direction of the Head, Investment Office, to achieve the hospital’s mission, goals and objectives.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Establish the Portfolio Management Function, including developing policies, processes, KPIs, objectives, resources planning, and monitoring.
2. Develops and updates the Strategic Asset allocation with engaged investment managers and advisers.
3. Builds strong networks with financial and investment institutions and ensures sourcing of quality and highreturn opportunities.
4. Reviews and approves periodic market research and develops an in-depth understanding of macro & microcosmic factors and their impact on investments.
5. Monitors adherence to established strategic asset allocation, authorizes rebalancing when required, and reviews quarterly performance reports before submission to BOD committees.
6. Attends quarterly calls with custodians, fiduciaries, and investment managers and manages investments in all asset classes.
7. Constructs successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends.
8. Buyers and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy or to reach an investment objective.
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or other related discipline is required.
Experience Required
Grade 11:
Five (5) years of related experience with Master’s, or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including two (2) years in senior/ supervisory capacity is required.
Grade 12:
Seven (7) years of related experience with Master’s, or nine (9) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including two (2) years of (Grade 11) experience is required.
Other Requirements(Certificates)
-Saudi National Only.
-CFA, CMA, CPA, or any other internationally recognized professional qualification in accounting is preferred.
