Summary

Promotes effective utilisation of health care resources. Monitors patients progress through the episode of care, reporting and correcting variances for specific patient populations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Participates in the management of the waiting list for specific areas.
  2. Coordinates with physicians and Admission Office in matters regarding admission and discharges.
  3. Maintains liaison with referring hospitals and referring physicians to ensure that all necessary information and documentation regarding patients are available.
  4. Manages and tracks the daily referrals of new patients.
  5. Ensures initiation and follow up the discharge planning process.
  6. Performs Case Management Assessment within one working day of admission and documents within 48 hours.
  7. Performs units’ rounds on a daily basis.
  8. Communicates and/or documents all relevant information as per established standards.
  9. Maintains positive professional interpersonal relationships with patients and their families, co-workers and other members of the Health Care Team.
  10. Serves on Program Committees as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or other related discipline is required.

Experience Required

One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree or three (3) years with IPA Diploma is required.

Saudi National only.
