Summary

Performs andevalautes a variety of Cytochemical, Microscopic, Immunological,procedures/testing in the Anatomic Pathology section to obtain accurate datafor diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Preparesmicroscopic slides from specimens of scrapings, or other exudates, and fixesthem. Stains and mount slides to preserve specimen and enhance visibility ofcells under the microscope.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology is required.

Experience Required

Two (2) years of experience inCytology with Bachelor’s or completion of one (1) year SCDP program in Cytologyat KFSH&RC for Saudi National is required.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.

Registration as Cytotechnologist with Certification by Internationally recognized body as CT(ASCP) or CT( IAC), AIMLS, FILMS, AIMS, NZIMLT, or equivalent in country of origin is required.
