Summary

Provides high-level support to Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) in Human Capital (HC) initiatives in order to drive continuous improvement at overall practicies, activities and functions in line with HC’s mission, goals, and objectives.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provides proactive input to the HC Senior Management on contemporary and novel HC models, practices and interventions to ensure that the HC functions remains outward looking and receptive to new ideas and approaches. 

2. Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends, including the productivity and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and yearly report. 
3. Works with the CHCO to identify, analyse, and recommends solutions for various HC issues, and monitors implementation of agreed upon actions until they are resolved. 
4. Provides expert counsel, advice and expertise to HC departments and line management in all matters related to HC functions, as needed.
 5. Undertakes and manages range of activities related to the HC initiatives and programs. Identifies and uses effective approaches to provide consultations and opportunities for improvement. 
6. Conducts continuous researching, and studying of all HC policies, initiatives, and programs to ensure HCprocesses and activities are aligned with latest practices. 
7. Maintains collaborative and effective relationship with other key management personnel and keep abreast of significant economy, social and technical trends and regulatory guidelines, which may influence HC functions. 
8. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to provide continuous improvements and efficiency of HC services. 
9. Analyses satisfaction and engagement indicators and other HC measurements such as but not limited to surveys, turnover and grievances, and presents recommendations for corrective action programs, asrequested. 
10. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures. 
11. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
 12. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or other related discipline is required.

Experience Required

Grade 11:Five (5) years of related experience with Master’s, or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree including two (2) years in a senior/supervisory position is required. 

Grade 12:Seven (7) years of related experience with Master’s, or nine (9) years of with Bachelor’s Degree including four (4) years of Grade 11 position is required. 
Grade 13:Nine (9) years of related experience with Master’s, or eleven (11) years of with Bachelor’s Degree including four (4) years of Grade 12 position is required

Other Requirements(Certificates)

  • Professional Certificate (e.g. CIPD, SHRM etc) is preferred.
