Contributes to the stability and growth of KFSH&RC by ensuring that it operates within the legal framework and regulatory requirements of the Kingdom, by providing legal advice and handling all related legal cases.
1. Advises senior management on legal issues affecting the organization.
2. Develops and maintains the hospital's standard terms and conditions for all commercial contracts.
3. Prepares and formulates decisions and directives related to the activities of the organization and expresses viewpoints on the relevant legislative tools.
4. Organizes legal opinions on major regulatory and legal issues.
5. Keeps pace with the changes and modifications introduced to the local, regional and international agreements and legislations, and studies their effect on the organization. Advises the Senior Management on all relevant regulations from government or other bodies.
6. Advises on issues pertinent to the implementation and application of the ethical and legal principles for practicing medical professionals and conducts appropriate investigations in this concern.
7. Advises on any legal aspects with respect to KFSH&RC’s policies and procedures.
8. Liaises with Director of Legal Affairs in group hospitals and remains up to date with legal issues across the organization.
9. Represents KFSH&RC's legal/commercial face in the legal and business community.
10. Advises on international best practices for providing legal services.
11. Renders legal opinion in matters related to personnel as required. Interprets the Employee Relations Manual (ERM) and any other legal provisions.
12. Assists the department’s role as a model to all Hospital employees by strictly following all Hospital policies and procedures.
13. Follows all Hospital policies and procedures.
14. Participates in self and other education, training & development as applicable.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law required.
Six (6) years of professional experience with the Master’s degree in the field of labor law, personnel affairs & contracts, or eight (8) years of similar qualifications with the Bachelor’s Degree required.
