Summary
Oversees and provides expert support for the Human Capital (HC) departments to ensure compliance with the Hospital's mission and objectives.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Supports, develops, implements, continuously monitors and updates the department's mission, goals and objectives as necessary.
2. Provides advice, and expertise to HC departments and line management in all matters related to HC policy plans, procedures, and information relating to Management, as requested.
3. Prepares reports and presentations for senior management, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of human capital initiatives.
4. Contributes to research and data gathering from internal and external sources when needed to support HCinitiatives.
5. Contributes to HC projects and initiatives. Assists in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support these projects, as assigned.
6. Participates in the development and maintenance of the department guidelines, and internal policies and procedures (IPPs). Reviews and recommends suggestions to update the department IPPs.
7. Assists in evaluating HC policies and staffing plans periodically to reflect current and future changes in the external market environment, as assigned.
8. Maintains collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeps abreast of significant economic, social and technical trends, and regulatory guidelines, which may influence assigned functions/ services and/or the Hospital.
9. Recommends technical and/or administrative advice/guidance regarding new or modification of policies to support business objectives related to best practices of HC policies and practices.
10. Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities from different sources to draw conclusions, using effective approaches for choosing a course of actions or developing appropriate solutions.
11. Utilizes variable internal and external data and statistics for ensuring effective HC planning and other planning activities.
12. Develops updates and maintains HC policies to promote a supportive culture within the Hospital.
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, or other related discipline is required.
Experience Required
Seven (7) years of related experience with Masters, or nine (9) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required
Other Requirements(Certificates)
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, HCI) or all equivalent certificates is preferred.
- Saudi National Only.
