Provides supervisory assistance in the delivery of services to residents to include the preparations of units for occupancy, providing moving assistance to employees, cleaning common areas, providing set-up items and furnishings, assigning accommodations, warehousing, conducting inventories, and other related services. Provides coverage during the absence of assigned supervisor.
1. Receives and records requests for housing assignments from employees or new hires. Evaluates requests according to established policies and criteria and proposes appropriate recommendations to supervisor.
2. Maintains waiting list for all housing complexes. Makes housing assignments based on availability.
3. Coordinates housing unit relocations between requestors and housing personnel. Assists the occupants during scheduled relocation from one unit to another taking into consideration the safety and care of items being moved.
4. Advises supervisor of any special circumstances regarding the transfer. Coordinates the preparation of housing units for occupancy, which includes cleaning, delivery of set-up items, bedroom preparation and delivery of food packages, as required.
5. Conducts inventories for employees moving in/out of Hospital housing, including new arrivals and ensures that accurate inventory procedures are performed. Monitors the movements of all household items and keep the computer records updated. Maintains an accurate and updated inventory filling system.
6. Maintains stocking recommendation. Prepares procurement requests and coordinates with supervisor for preparation of procurement documents for new/re-order of stocked items. Establishes level of stock for replacement of household furnishings.
7. Observes the usage of recycled items from storeroom to reduce costs. Ensures that items returned to storeroom are separated, cleaned, and stored for reuse. Performs periodic disposal of unusable or obsolete items.
8. Responds to non-routine activities such as unit flooding, lockouts and unexpected new arrivals and any other emergencies.
9. Inspects all communal facilities and ensures areas are clean. Maintains key control inventory system and issues keys.
10. Participates in self and others education, training, and development as applicable.
11. Follows Hospital policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or any related discipline is required.
No experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or one (1) year of related experience with Diploma is required.
