Summary

Performs technical duties involving the preventive maintenance and repair of electro-medical, mechanical medical equipment, and medical and surgical instruments.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Repairs electro-medical and mechanical equipment and instruments. 

 2. Inspects and performs electrical safety checks of electro-medical equipment. 
 3. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance for assigned medical equipment and instruments. 
 4. Performs repairs and PM on other medical equipment, as requested. 
 5. Assists Clinical Engineering staff and external service vendors on repairs and related tasks.
 6. Fabricates mechanical parts as required. 
 7. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures. 
8. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable. 
9. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Education

Bachelor's Degree, or Diploma in Biomedical Technology, or other related discipline is required. 

Experience Required

No experience is required with Bachelor's Degree, or two (2) years of related experience with Technical Diploma.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Valid license from country of origin.
