In line with the worldwide governments’ adoption of the electronic participation practices and use of e-channels solutions for community issues, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) was keen to make use of the internet and electronic participation tools to increase and enrich the level of participation of citizens. Accordingly, KFSH&RC gave the opportunity for everyone to participate in the decision making process by contributing with their experiences, suggestions, ideas, and problems via the available social communication channels, and the electronic means of communication which include polls, complaints, suggestions, comments, and the evaluation of provided topics and services.
In order to ensure compliance with the relevant laws of the Kingdom, and raising the level of dialogue to achieve the anticipated goals, KFSH&RC deemed it appropriate to oversee the contributions and review them before publishing. Furthermore, with a view to ensure absolute liberty of contribution and allow opportunity for everyone to deliver their complaints to officials, the Hospital provided means for open communication to anyone who wants to participate after entering his/her personal data. The Hospital further has the right not to publish, or delete, the contributions it deems to be inconsistent with its policy or the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without any obligations. The Hospital, its employees or representative may in no case be held responsible for the consequences of publishing comments or notes through its electronic participation channels.
